It’s the best day of the week again— #TAPTuesday! —and I’m excited to bring to you this interview with Amrit Sokhal, our Sr. Technical Product Manager at BeyondTrust.
Once a month, we spotlight a member of the BeyondTrust Technology Alliances team to gain expert insights and to see what they are most looking forward to in 2023. Amrit is critical to the success of the team because he is responsible for driving new use cases with our Technology Partners as well as for being an evangelist for Intelligent Identity and Access Security.

Meet Amrit Sokhal
Amrit has been at BeyondTrust for over 6 years. He started in Professional Services as a Senior Implementation Engineer, where he delivered BeyondTrust End Point Management solutions to our enterprise customers and engaged firsthand with our customers on some of the most complex deployments. In early 2021, Amrit transitioned to be a Sales Engineer and aligned himself to sell our solutions to new prospects and customers in the mid-west region of the US. From his new team, he was able to understand what challenges and roadblocks our customers were facing with their Privileged Access Management. This brings us to Amrit’s current role: Sr. Technology Alliances Product Manager. In 2022, Amrit joined the Technology Alliances Team. He now oversees use case development with some of our most strategic partners.
Outside of work, Amrit loves to be outside enjoying nature. Here he is on one of his favorite hikes:

What is Amrit Sokhal most excited about for the Technology Alliances team in 2023?
Now that we are rolling into the latter half of 2023, there was a lot to reflect on. From our Ping Identity DaVinci integration to our ServiceNow Password Safe integration, there have been some great milestones reached for our customers. Looking out at the rest of 2023, Amrit is looking forward to perusing new use cases with our strategic partners to help our solutions work better for our joint customers.
What is Amrit’s favorite thing about his work on the BeyondTrust Technology Alliances team?
Working among the team to solve problems for our customers is at the top of his list of favorite things about working at BeyondTrust—and the list Amrit provided was extensive! From Technical Evaluations to prototype development, to go-to-market strategies and more, Amrit has a lot of reasons to enjoy coming to work. Something that resonated with me was his passion to work with engineering and product on the curation of technical documentation, how-to guides, solutions briefs, demonstrations, and more. Amrit’s dedication to serving our customers and solving problems is unmatched. Most of all, Amrit enjoys working with his “amazing Technology Alliances colleagues.”
What is Amrit’s favorite breakfast meal or food?
Unlike the broader Technology Alliances team, Amrit is a healthy breakfast eater! Starting your morning right is important, or at least that’s what I’ve heard. Amrit likes to start his day with oatmeal + fruit. Fun fact, Amrit is British, and every now and then he loves to enjoy some baked beans on toast! Not a common breakfast outside of the UK’s traditions, but delicious all the same!
Stay tuned for more interviews from the Technology Alliances team throughout the year. If you would like to follow our Technology Alliances Partner (TAP) Tuesday announcements, be sure to check out our #TAPTuesday posts each week on LinkedIn and Twitter.
