At Go Beyond 2019, we had the opportunity to sit down with several customers who shared their experiences using BeyondTrust products and the impact they’ve have on their organizations. One of these customers was Ryan Powell, Operations and Response Centre Manager at University of Derby in the UK. Powell shared how BeyondTrust’s Endpoint Privilege Management solution has enabled the University of Derby to keep its organization safe from cyber threats by enforcing least privilege across Windows and macOS mobile and desktop devices.
"Since we rolled out Endpoint Privilege Management…we’ve reduced ransomware vulnerability to zero in the last two or three years now,” Powell shared.
Keeping their organization safe is just one of the benefits that they’ve realized since implementing Endpoint Privilege Management. The team at University of Derby has successfully obtained the Cyber Essentials Certification, which has enabled them to bid for high-caliber research opportunities. Powell attributes their use of BeyondTrust’s Endpoint Privilege Management solution to helping them achieve this prestigious certification.
