Cyber Defense Magazine has released its list of the Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity for 2020, and we are pleased to announce that Liz Shulof, Chief Marketing Officer of BeyondTrust, was chosen for this prestigious award. The Top 100 Women in Cybersecurity list is a subset of independent awards announced annually as part of the magazine’s “Black Unicorn Awards”.
Liz Shulof’s 10-year career at BeyondTrust has been quite a ride. Liz was hired in 2010 as Director of Public Relations for Bomgar. Over time, she took on additional responsibilitiesand, in 2016, Liz was tapped to run BeyondTrust’s global Marketing organization. In 2019, following the acquisition of 3 companies by Bomgar, Liz helped led the integration efforts, which included the launch of the new BeyondTrust brand, the go-forward company name for the united companies. Prior to joining the company, Liz worked as an IT consultant and marketing strategist helping technology and security companies transform and promote their businesses.
“While I am honored to receive this recognition, it reflects the combined effort of the entire BeyondTrust team,” says Shulof. “I’m appreciative of the career opportunities I’ve had, and I am gratified to see the growing number of exceptional women across BeyondTrust, particularly in our technical departments. Attracting and retaining top talent is a critical component of our success as a company, and part of that mission includes providing meaningful opportunities to a diverse pool of qualified candidates, including women.”
Liz is one of two women on our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). We’re proud that women currently represent 20 percent of our C-Suite, 31 percent of leadership roles at BeyondTrust and 24 percent of all employees. These numbers are remarkable for a technology company and demonstrate BeyondTrust’s commitment to celebrating women in leadership and enabling career growth for women in all levels of our organization. This focus reflects just one component of the global Diversity & Inclusion initiative, a foundational pillar of the BeyondTrust culture and overarching values.
Congratulations Liz!
