As Chief Executive Officer of BeyondTrust, Matt Dircks is responsible for BeyondTrust’s long-term market and product strategy and leads the company’s day-to-day operations. He also guides BeyondTrust’s unique culture that is centered on integrity, transparency, respect, and innovation.
Dircks has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry with roles encompassing product strategy, product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and corporate development. Prior to becoming CEO of Bomgar, which became BeyondTrust in 2018, he was the Vice President and General Manager of Service Support Products at BMC software, joining BMC through the acquisition of Numara Software in February 2012 where he was Vice President of Products since 2008. Before Numara, Dircks served as General Manager of the Server Virtualization Business at Quest Software.
Previously, Dircks was President of Full Armor Corporation, a start-up he helped transform from a single-product business into a highly-scalable multi-product, multi-channel corporation. He also served as Senior Vice President of Products & Markets at NetIQ Corp, and General Manager for the Web Products Group and Director of Worldwide Product Management at Citrix Systems. Dircks holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
As Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of BeyondTrust, Janine Seebeck is responsible for the Company’s financial, operational, accounting, IT, and strategic planning functions. Seebeck has more than 20 years of senior finance and operations experience, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Agilysys Inc., a hospitality software leader. She previously held the positions of Vice President and Controller and Principal Accounting Officer at Agilysys. Prior to Agilysys, Seebeck served as Vice President of Finance, Asia Pacific, and Vice President, Corporate Controller for Premiere Global Services, Inc., a global leader in virtual meetings. Seebeck also served as a Senior Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Accounting from John Carroll University.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Brent Thurrell is responsible for BeyondTrust’s global go-to-market strategy, revenue growth sales enablement, and partner program. Thurrell joined the company in 2012, previously leading the EMEIA Sales organization as Senior Vice President, EMEIA and APJ. He has significant experience in the information security industry with extensive work in the Identity and Access Management sector on projects ranging from SSO - Access Control through to Federated Identity. Prior to BeyondTrust, Brent held previous management and sales team positions for Xerox and Capita in the UK. His experience notably includes the successful introduction and early stage growth of access governance vendor Aveksa and the Roles Based Access Control vendor Vaau (since acquired by Sun Microsystems) into Europe. Brent graduated from Manchester University with BSc in Business Management.
As Chief Human Resources Officer of BeyondTrust, Mark Rankin oversees all aspects of HR including Talent Acquisition and Development, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, and HR Operations. He has more than 20 years of human resources and strategy experience, most recently serving as the global Head of HR Centers of Excellence for Invesco. Mr. Rankin previously held the positions of Director of Retirement strategy and lead an internal consulting team at Wells Fargo and was a Case Team Leader at Bain & Company. He started his career at Hewitt as an HR outsourcing consultant designing and administering defined contribution and flexible benefit plans in the US and UK. Mr. Rankin earned a BA degree in economics from Haverford College and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Morey J. Haber is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at BeyondTrust. He has more than 25 years of IT industry experience and has authored three Apress books: Privileged Attack Vectors, Asset Attack Vectors, and Identity Attack Vectors. In 2018, Bomgar acquired BeyondTrust and retained the BeyondTrust name. He originally joined BeyondTrust in 2012 as a part of the eEye Digital Security acquisition. Morey currently oversees BeyondTrust strategy for privileged access management and remote access solutions. In 2004, he joined eEye as Director of Security Engineering and was responsible for strategic business discussions and vulnerability management architectures in Fortune 500 clients. Prior to eEye, he was Development Manager for Computer Associates, Inc. (CA), responsible for new product beta cycles and named customer accounts. He began his career as Reliability and Maintainability Engineer for a government contractor building flight and training simulators. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
As Chief Product Officer, Dan DeRosa is responsible for BeyondTrust's product portfolio, product innovation, strategic acquisitions, and new product launches. DeRosa has more than 25 years of experience managing product and marketing functions, and has led sales, channel development, and operations teams. After beginning his career with AT&T, DeRosa worked at Automatic Data Processing, Dun & Bradstreet, Sage Software, Dell SecureWorks, and SunGard before joining BeyondTrust. In these companies, DeRosa held marketing and product leadership roles and gained experience with enterprise software, security software and services, risk management products, business process outsourcing services, and cloud/SaaS deployment models. DeRosa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rutgers University.
As Executive Vice President, Engineering and Technology, Raj Cherukuri is responsible for setting BeyondTrust's technology strategy and leading the global engineering organization in delivering innovative solutions to address market needs in privileged access management, remote access, and vulnerability management. In 2010, Cherukuri joined Bomgar, which became BeyondTrust in 2018, and has held various leadership roles within engineering while guiding Bomgar's transition from a single remote support offering to a multi-product, multi-deployment comprehensive privileged access management solution. With 20+ years in product development, Cherukuri has also held leadership positions in IT and product management, and served as a CTO. Prior to BeyondTrust, Cherukuri served in roles at SkyTel, Verizon, and SkyGuard. Cherukuri holds an M.S in Computer Science from University of New Mexico and a B.E. in Computer Science from Osmania University.
As Senior Vice President of Customer Success, Dave Giles is responsible for making sure customers are wildly successful with BeyondTrust's solutions. Giles has more than 25 years of experience in Product Development, Product Management and Marketing, and Chief Customer Advocate roles. Giles works across the BeyondTrust team to ensure customer needs are at the center of everything BeyondTrust does, and he directly manages the Professional Services, Education, and Technical Support organizations worldwide. Early in his career, Giles developed, delivered, and managed productivity and accounting software in Japan at Apple and Intuit Inc. Prior to BeyondTrust, Giles served as Corporate Customer Advocate for Numara Software and led Product Management and Marketing for BMC Software’s Service Management portfolio. Giles holds bachelor’s degrees in Japanese Language and Economics from Stanford University.
As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Liz Shulof is responsible for all aspects of Marketing, including Corporate Communications, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing. Shulof has more than 15 years of experience developing and managing strategic and marketing initiatives for B2B technology companies. Before joining BeyondTrust, Shulof served as Vice President at Greenough Communications, where she managed public relations programs for clients, including Quest Software, Numara Software, and IGEL Technology. Previously, Shulof spent more than five years in strategy and technology consulting with Accenture. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Purdue University.
