BeyondTrust’s Top Tech Integrations of 2024: Strengthening Identity Security Together

2024 was a big year for our Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) team! Last year, BeyondTrust continued to solidify its position as a leader in the identity security space by forging new partnerships and strengthening existing technology integrations. In total, the BeyondTrust Technology Alliance team added over 100 new integrations! Through our technology alliance program, BeyondTrust fosters partnerships with best-in-class technology providers, offering joint customers seamless integrations and enhanced security controls, enabling them to effectively protect potential escalation pathways and their most critical assets.

Here’s a look back at some of the most notable new partnerships and integrations that we developed over this past year.

Achieved AWS Security Competency

A significant milestone that we achieved this past year was obtaining Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Competency status. AWS was also recognized as BeyondTrust’s Technology Partner of the Year!

This Security Competency designation recognizes BeyondTrust’s deep technical expertise in AWS and proven success in helping customers achieve their cloud security goals. By earning this competency, BeyondTrust has demonstrated expertise in helping our mutual customers secure identities, stop threats, and deliver dynamic access across their AWS environments.

New Identity Security Insights® Integrations

The BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights solution proactively strengthens your identity security posture and builds resilience against threats by uncovering identity vulnerabilities and hidden Paths to Privilege™. Building on these insights, BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights now offers expanded integrations, enabling seamless workflows with your current security and incident response tools. Supported tools now include ServiceNow Security Operations Center (SOC) and ITSM, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Splunk, SailPoint identity governance, and Ping DaVinci automation and orchestration (to name just a few).

With the latest webhook integrations, organizations can leverage automation to achieve new levels of security. For instance, security teams can configure detections and recommendations to be automatically sent to their choice of incident response tool, such as SIEM, SOAR, or communication tools, including Slack or Teams. Boosted IT Service Management (ITSM) Productivity & Efficiency with New Atlassian Jira Integrations

BeyondTrust and Atlassian partnered together to provide new integrations with both BeyondTrust Remote Support and Password Safe. Both integrations are designed to reduce cybersecurity risks and increase the productivity of your service desk—all with the same tools you trust. The new Jira integrations for Remote Support and Password Safe are now available and can be trialed and purchased directly on the Atlassian Marketplace!

Microsoft Defender Integration

By integrating Identity Security Insights with Password Safe and Microsoft Defender, organizations gain a unified security approach that ensures privileged access is tightly controlled while leveraging Defender’s endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities to monitor for suspicious behavior. This integration allows for real-time detection of threats targeting privileged accounts, ensuring rapid response and remediation.

Several New Joint Ping Identity Solutions and Integrations

BeyondTrust and Ping Identity have been partnering to deliver seamless integrations that advance identity security and governance for over five years, and we aren’t slowing down. During this past year, we introduced several new BeyondTrust - Ping integrations that expand our strategic partnership to provide our customers with powerful visibility, management, and control. By enhancing our customers’ ability to continuously assess their identity security posture across endpoints, servers, cloud services, DevOps systems, and identity providers, we are better equipping you to manage and secure these expanding identity estates.

New Community Site; Password Safe Custom Plug-Ins and Identity Security Insights Webhooks

The new BeeKeepers Community Platform was recently launched, and has been an immediate success with customers, partners, and internal employees. The TAP is very excited to be able to share new and innovative ideas for custom integrations that may not fall under the product directly but could be supported by the community. We also believed that this would inspire our customers and partners to contribute their integration ideas. The TAP team has since released 25 Custom Plugins for Password Safe and 30 JSON templates for Identity Security Insights, making them the top contributors to the community to date. The team will continue to thrive on their innovation by releasing more integration ideas and examples for all our products in the coming year.

Entitle Connectors for BeyondTrust products

With Entitle joining the BeyondTrust portfolio of products, it was only natural to create entitlement access workflows into other BeyondTrust products as the first integration use case. With an extensive background and experience in provisioning workflows, the TAP team was pivotal in quickly turning around prototypes for access workflows for all our products, making it simple for Entitle’s Development team to leverage native connectors. The first connector to be officially released is for Privileged Remote Access, with the others following one by one. This was a key internal partnership with our new Entitle family to quickly bring our inter-product integrations for JIT provisioning to market.

SailPoint provisioning connectors for all BeyondTrust products

BeyondTrust and SailPoint integrations combine market-leading identity security and privileged access management solutions to deliver comprehensive governance, security, and lifecycle management of privileged accounts. These integrations enable seamless synchronization of privileged account data between all BeyondTrust solutions and SailPoint’s IdentityIQ / IdentityNow platforms, enhancing visibility and control over privileged entitlements. By automating tasks such as credential cycling, account discovery, access approvals, and provisioning, the joint solution ensures continuous compliance, mitigates risks associated with privileged access, and simplifies IT operations while aligning with enterprise identity governance strategies.

We are excited about the many integration milestones we met throughout 2024, and the continued growth of the BeyondTrust Technology Alliance Program as a whole. We look forward to continuing our commitment to innovation and collaboration by further enhancing our solutions and integrations to meet the demands of our customers and the ever-changing identity security landscape.
