BeyondTrust's premier customer and partner conference has brought its regional audiences together like never before. Instead of following Go Beyond tradition and bringing global customers and partners to one event, this year Go Beyond is hitting the road, taking the latest threat knowledge, product innovations, and strategic networks directly to our partners and customers. The Go Beyond World Tour consists of five regional events spanning the globe, all of which are focused on helping customers stay ahead of the evolving cybersecurity landscape, enhance the value of their BeyondTrust portfolio, and expand their networks.
To keep pace with this new, dynamic event style, this blog is going on tour, too. I’ll provide daily updates recapping the highlights and hottest moments from each day of the event as the tour unfolds.
World Tour Location #1: Napa, USA
The first stop on the 2024 Go Beyond World Tour was at The Meritage Spa and Resort in Napa, USA, where attendees got to experience an action-packed agenda from the heart of Napa Valley. Let's recap the highlight moments from throughout the day.
Opening keynote: 2024 Cybersecurity Risks & Threats, by Rachel Wilson
Following a picturesque breakfast on a terrace overlooking sun-soaked hillside vineyards, attendees were even more awe-inspired by Rachel Wilson, who revealed some of the most pressing cybersecurity risks organizations are facing now, and those we need to prepare to face in the future.
Rachel has a wealth of experience in cyber security--specifically in counter-terrorism. Prior to her current role as the Head of Data Security & Infrastructure Risk for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, she worked for the National Security Agency as well as at the US Embassy in London. Her experience ranges from detecting and disrupting foreign terrorist attacks to cyber threats targeting the 2012 Olympics.
During her keynote, Rachel provided a rare and unique perspective into the most advanced cyber threats our world is currently facing.
BeyondTrust Vision + Innovation: 2024 Cybersecurity Risks & Threats, by Rachel Wilson
Following Rachel's keynote, BeyondTrust's product management leaders, Sam Elliott, SVP of Products; Tal Guest, Sr Director, Product Management; Peter Knight, Sr Director, Product Management; and Jason Jones, Director, Product Management, detailed our product vision and continued innovations.
The team broke down BeyondTrust's shift to identity-first security and how that evolution will impact our privileged access management (PAM) stack. They also explained why visibility, management, and protection are critical in securing against modern threats, and how we are looking to deliver these outcomes to our customers.

Identity Security Insights, by Marc Maiffret
Our CTO, Marc Maiffret, took the stage to discuss how Identity Security Insights is changing our perspective on cybersecurity. Marc demonstrated how the powerful visibility and proactive recommendations organizations can leverage can provide a strong defense against even the most complex and innovative threats.
Customer Spotlight
The afternoon sessions featured three customer spotlights:
Does Your Organization Suffer from an Identity Security Crisis? by Morey J. Haber
Our world-famous Chief Security Advisor, Morey J. Haber posed the thought-provoking question: are organizations are having an identity crisis?
In his intriguing session, Morey explained that, as cyberattacks continue to increase in volume and sophistication, it is not a matter of if, but when, your organization will have an incident. Threat actors target accounts, users, and their associated identities to conduct their malicious activities through lateral movement and poor identity security hygiene. Detecting and defending against these malicious activities should be the basis of all modern cybersecurity initiatives.
The sessions were concluded with Janine Seebeck, Rob Spee, and Brett Theiss announcing our illustrious list of Partner Award winners:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿
- HCLTech: 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿
