Have you heard? If your LinkedIn feed hasn’t tipped you off already, in-person events are back! It’s been glorious to see people coming together again to network, learn, and let the good times roll.
Bringing our customers and partners together this year was a high priority for BeyondTrust, and we were thrilled to be able to welcome 250+ customers and partners from around the world in beautiful South Florida at the JW Marriott Turnberry in Miami for a week of knowledge sharing and fun! We hosted several hundred more attendees virtually by live streaming our main stage sessions so we could meet you where you are.
If you haven’t had a chance to tune in, here’s what you missed:

We kicked off Day 1 of our technical training. Attendees had the chance to complete full technical certification training on a product of their choice with a live instructor from our BeyondTrust University team.
Go Beyond 2022 attendees have their eyes on the main stage during this year's customer & partner event.
For our non-technical partner attendees, a full day of sales training was on the agenda. Lead by our Sales Enablement team, partners learned the ins and outs of selling our world-class privileged access management solutions.

The training continued! An additional 8 hours of instructor-led training took place.
Of course, the fun didn’t stop there. We also hosted Partner Connect Day, which included several interactive sessions with our global partners to help us gain valuable feedback we can use to redefine how we work together. We also were able to recognize our top performing partners at our Global Partner Awards Ceremony.
Congratulations to all our Global Partner Award recipients!
That evening, we welcomed everyone at our Havana Nights Welcome Reception around the Cascata Pool.
Adorned with fedoras, we let loose to the sounds of a Latin trio. Attendees could help themselves to a hand-rolled cigar or taste their way through a variety of mojitos.

We found the perfect way to start the day.
Sarah Lieber led us through Morning Yoga Flow as the sun rose over the Atlantic.
Once our minds and bodies were ready for the day, the how floor opened! Attendees got to immerse themselves in all things BT by visiting our demo stations, attending a live workshop, and checking out our integrations expo. To accessorize their immersion, attendees could also head over to our Swag Shuffle + Swag Store.
Go Beyond 2022 Attendees had the chance to earn extra flare for their lanyards by completing various challenges. They could redeem the pins they earned in the Swag Shuffle at the Swag Store, and items were shipped directly to their homes!
All eyes soon turned to the main stage for the start of the day’s sessions.
The sessions kicked off with the passing of the torch from Matt Dircks, who will be stepping away from his role as CEO next month to Janine Seebeck, BeyondTrust’s new CEO.
Next, our product team quickly dove into our current and upcoming product highlights, roadmap, and innovation topics.
Following the introduction to our product vision, we kicked off our How We Did It: Customer Spotlight series as well, hearing first from Universal Health Services (who had the comedic foresight to come equipped with a swear jar).
After lunch, our first keynote, Chris Krebs, took the stage, hosted by our very own Marc Maiffret.
The former Director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and CBS News Contributor discussed how the motto, “Defend Today, Secure Tomorrow” can help provide security against the tech challenges, the hierarchy of threats, and the vibrant cybercriminal ecosystem that lay in front of us.
Defend today; secure tomorrow. The entire concept is that, if you are stuck digging out of today's trenches, you'll never be able to tackle tomorrow's problems.
Chris Krebbs, Go Beyond Keynote #1
We also heard from Chick-fil-A about the power of Remote Support integrated with ServiceNow, as well as Investec about their journey to zero trust.
That wrapped up the sessions for the day, but our evening was ushered in with a very successful Women in Tech Happy Hour and Book Signing with Tarah Wheeler.
The first signature of the evening went to our own Liz Shulof. Copies of Women in Tech were available to the women and allies who came out to connect, network, and share their experiences in the industry.
Following the book signing, we all donned our best 80s attire for the Miami Vice Party and danced the night away to a retro cover band.
In keeping with our Miami Vice theme, our special guest for the evening was a baby-pink 1957 T-Bird.

For our Day 2 Keynote ,Tarah Wheeler, “white hat” hacker and author of Women in Tech, took the stage.
Tarah led a compelling talk about actionable solutions for securing your organization and protecting customer data in the 21st century.
I don't think that the systems that we're building should be that vulnerable to single points of failure…and recognizing the way the world works, recognizing software vulnerabilities and how we are responsible for finding them, testing for them, fuzzing for them, is something that everyone gets to start taking part in at this point.
Tarah Wheeler, Go Beyond Keynote #2
Next up on the mainstage was our Sponsor Session with SailPoint: Between Two Ferns.
Mike and Morey positioned themselves between two live ferns to candidly discuss the problem with passwords and the importance of managing privileged accounts.
Later in the day, we broke into product user groups for our technical audience, and our executive audience attended sponsor-led roundtables, before our three additional customers, Biogen, MyVest, and L3 Harris, took to the stage to share their user experiences.
Finally, attendees took to the Swag Store to cash in their pins for coveted BT swag. Congratulations go out to the three winners of the BeyondTrust Apple Watch and BeyondTrust Airpods: Gavin Duffy, Workday; Lauren Kemp, Ignition Technology; Neil Ramos, Jones Lang LaSalle
See you next year!
