In the wake of recent high profile news stories uncovering the
extent of insider breach, Microsoft security vulnerabilities and
rising cyber attacks, organizations are increasingly recognising
the benefits of privilege management across the desktop and server
estate as a means to protecting them against external and internal
threat.
So we are delighted to be honoured with three awards for
innovation during October for our Privilege Guard solution which helps
organisations to strike a balance between increasing endpoint
security and user productivity, to combat such threats without
locking down the user experience.
The triple win recognises the huge achievements we have made in
product innovation over the last 12 months:
Golden Bridge Awards - awarded Gold for Innovation in
Privileged Access Management.
McAfee Most Innovative Partner of 2013 rewarding Avecto's
efforts within the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA)
programme and the comprehensive integration of Privilege Guard ePO
edition.
Best New Product at Computing Security Awards for integration
and value add to the McAfee Security Connection framework.
Commenting on the awards, Mark Austin, CEO at Avecto said;
"Winning shows that the issue of privilege management is being
adopted by UK organizations as a means of balancing security
vulnerabilities, empowering users and ensuring they adhere to
stringent compliance mandates.
"For everyone at Avecto, these awards are testimony to hard work
and dedication throughout the organisation and it is great to see
that honoured in this way."
The triple win for Avecto adds to earlier coups for Innovative
Product of the Year (SC Magazine), and placement at number 31 in
the Sunday Times' Tech Track 100 list.
