As companies face rising cyber-attacks, cybersecurity professionals are in high demand. The competition to hire is fierce as companies across the country recruit and offer remote positions to the most qualified candidates regardless of their physical location. Even as the cybersecurity industry continues to offer both novice and veteran workers vast job role opportunities, collaboration and peer mentorship are more important now than ever (especially in the virtual world in which we currently live).
Please join our next Women in Security networking event to hear directly from a panel of cybersecurity experts who will talk about the skills/training needed to get noticed, the efforts to make cybersecurity more diverse, and how to encourage and support one another in a high-demand industry. Tune in live to hear from our guest experts;
Panelists: Meghan Jacquot, Risk Assessment Cybersecurity Engineering with Cyber Future Foundation, Sarba Roy, Product Security Consultant and Membership Chair at WiCys and Angela Duggan, Director, User Experience at BeyondTrust
Moderator: Allen Vance, VP Product Management, BeyondTrust
Following the panel discussion attendees will have the opportunity to break into smaller networking groups to meet & greet with fellow attendees, plus share their own stories and ideas about how to lead by example and continue to grow the industry with best-in-class talent. We welcome you to join this great opportunity to interact and network with fellow women in cybersecurity from around the country.
