On Friday, June 12, 2026, BeyondTrust was notified of a security event involving Klue (a third-party competitive intelligence vendor integrated with our Salesforce CRM) and the resulting access to business contact and general sales-related customer information in BeyondTrust’s Salesforce CRM system.
Upon learning of the incident, BeyondTrust Cyber Defense immediately initiated our incident response procedures, disabled the affected integration, and launched a comprehensive investigation to determine what occurred.
No employee accounts were compromised, and none of our infrastructure, network, products, or product cloud environments were accessed. Our software code, customer instances, and the delivery and operation of our products and services were not affected.
Because the accessed information included business contact information, we recommend extra vigilance against phishing and social engineering attempts.
Because the incident did not involve BeyondTrust products, there is no action required from customers to maintain the security of their deployed BeyondTrust products. We are committed to transparency and will provide relevant updates to our community.
