The State of Illinois faced a challenging task: move 30,000 employees into a work-from-home setup that successfully granted employees access to their workstations from personal devices at home and met the state’s stringent compliance standards. Traditional tooling such as VPN could not scale enough to accommodate this number of employees.
The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) turned to BeyondTrust Remote Support as a solution for seamlessly enabling remote support and securely managing and monitoring remote sessions across their workforce, and with collaboration from the BeyondTrust team, rolled out the new solution within days.
