BeyondTrust Password Safe and Endpoint Privilege Management Achieve Department of Defense Approved Product Listing

Atlanta, GA – October 31, 2024 – BeyondTrust, the global cybersecurity leader protecting Paths to Privilege™, today announced that its Password Safe (PWS) and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solutions have achieved certification for the Department of Defense information network (DoDIN) Approved Products List (APL). These solutions provide comprehensive support for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) zero trust directive, bolstering cybersecurity by securing privileged credentials and enforcing least privilege access across critical systems:

The DoD’s zero trust strategy requires the elimination of lateral movement by 2027, mandating strict controls on privileged access to reduce cyber risk. In the Defense Department, the term “zero trust” refers to a nascent cybersecurity framework and set of 152 activities collectively meant to enable non-stop monitoring and constant authentication to secure critical national security data and information.
