James Maude is the Field Chief Technology Officer (FCTO) at BeyondTrust. With his broad experience in security research, both in academia and industry, James has spent the past decade analyzing cyber threats to identify attack vectors and trends in the evolving security landscape. He is an active member of the security community and hosts Adventures of Alice and Bob, a podcast that shines a light on the people making a difference in security. As an expert voice on cybersecurity, he regularly presents at international events and hosts webinars to discuss threats and defense strategies.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Mike Puterbaugh is responsible for BeyondTrust’s global marketing strategy. He is passionate about building our brand reputation and amplifying our leadership position in the evolving identity security market. With more than 25 years of technology and cybersecurity marketing experience, Mike has built and led world-class marketing teams that drive strong revenue growth, including as part of the leadership team at eEye Digital Security, which was acquired by BeyondTrust in 2012. Prior to returning to BeyondTrust as SVP Product & Influencer Marketing in 2024, Mike served as the CMO at Pathlock, and also held various leadership positions at organizations like Intel, Mercury Interactive, and Quest Software.  Mike has a bachelor’s degree in political science from San Jose State University.

As Chief Customer Officer, Sean Cashin is responsible for enabling customers to achieve business objectives and cybersecurity goals with BeyondTrust solutions. Sean has more than 25 years of experience in Software Development, Operations, Transformational Change, and Customer Experience/Customer Success roles. Sean works with teams across the company to create an exceptional experience for BeyondTrust customers. Sean directly manages the Customer Success Management, Education, Enablement, Professional Services, Support, and Technical Account Management organizations worldwide. Early in his career, Sean developed, delivered, and managed productivity, time, and knowledge management software across varied industries, including shipbuilding and telco. Prior to BeyondTrust, he was an executive and consultant at NTT DATA, focusing on Operations Excellence and Automation, primarily in the Financial Services world. Sean is a graduate of ITI Halifax with an MCPM from the Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary's University.

As Vice President of Product Strategy, Felix applies more than 35 years of IT industry experience, 12 of which he spent as a PAM-focused analyst, and a strong passion for machine IAM to advance BeyondTrust’s modern PAM and identity security portfolio, empowering customers to stay ahead of evolving threats.

During his 12 years as a Gartner analyst, Felix specialized in PAM and led the Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management (PAM) from its inception until 2023. He also served as an analyst for KuppingerCole prior to Gartner.

Earlier in his career, Felix worked as a trusted Technology Advisor to global corporations and public institutions across automotive, telecom, government and finance industries. He was also involved in multiple high-tech ventures, most notably as co-founder of Symlabs, and has held roles spanning the full cycle of IT, from developing UNIX device drivers and building ISPs to leading IAM teams and enterprise security initiatives.

I have been working in a variety of product management roles since 2006 across diverse industries. I firmly believe in putting the customer at the heart of what I do, and that delivering quality solutions and products is based on a deep understanding of your customers’ world. As a senior product manager, I care about the experience we deliver to our customers, not just the technology or functionality wrapped into a product. I always enjoy discussing issues and challenges with customers to get a clear picture of what we need to solve today, tomorrow, and into the future.

Damien Brown is a distinguished IT leader with over 20 years of experience, currently operating as the EMEA Vice President of Solutions Engineering at BeyondTrust. He has a proven track record of developing robust pre-sales teams focused on delivering cutting-edge identity management and access control solutions that enhance security and ensure compliance across global platforms. Through his leadership at BeyondTrust, Damien has driven strategic initiatives that safeguard critical infrastructure and data, leveraging his deep expertise in cloud computing and infrastructure technologies. His ability to orchestrate high-performing teams and implement strategic analysis has positioned him as a key influencer in the field, continually advancing organisational capabilities in complex IT environments.

Mohamed Ibbich ist als Senior Director Sales Engineering bei BeyondTrust in Frankfurt am Main tätig und hat sich als zuverlässiger Berater für Kunden und Partner erwiesen. Er bringt über 18 Jahre Erfahrung als Vertriebspartner in Großbritannien, DACH und im Mittleren Osten mit umfangreichen Know-how beim Verkauf von Sicherheits- und Verschlüsselungslösungen an Unternehmenskunden sowohl im öffentlichen als auch im privaten Sektor mit. Er hat sich auf die Beratung vor und nach dem Verkauf in den Bereichen IT-Sicherheit und Verschlüsselung spezialisiert. Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei Avecto, ein Unternehmen der BeyondTrust, war er Senior Pre-Sales Consultant bei WinMagic und Sales Engineer bei Sophos.

Christoph Pontau ist als Sr. Solutions Engineer bei BeyondTrust tätig und unterstützt als zuverlässiger Berater für Kunden und Partner das Wachstum in der DACH-Region. Er betreut dabei die Bereiche Secure Remote Access, Privileged Password Management und Endpoint Privilege Management. Seit mehr als 13 Jahren arbeitet Christoph Pontau in der IT und war bereits in verschiedenen Branchen tätig. Seit 9 Jahren liegt der Fokus dabei auf Aufgaben im technischen Presales. Die technische Beratung sowie die Durchführung von Proof of Concepts sind hierbei besonders hervorzuheben.
