In celebration of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, the Women and Allies BeyondTrust Employee Resource Group (BTRG) was excited to host a robust slate of opportunities for employees to highlight and celebrate the incredible women of BeyondTrust. During the month of March, we were joined by several exciting guests as they shared their career journeys, life learnings, and how they created impact as leaders.
Programming and Events
Celebrating Women & Allies @ BeyondTrust
On March 9, we were joined by three women who have had particularly impactful careers. Katherine Thompson, Head of Ecosystems at Cyber Future Foundation; Rosemarie Wilson, Women in Identity member and advisor, experienced Change Agent, Coach & Mentor, and founder of Pragmatica Coaching; and Elin Haf Davies, CEO at Aparito shared the lessons they’ve learned and how they’ve navigated gender expectations, obstacles, and challenges throughout their tenures.
Pathbuilders Lunch & Learn
On March 11, the Women & Allies BTRG teamed up with Pathbuilders, a professional mentoring and leadership development company that offers cross-company mentoring programs for women at each phase of their careers. Pat Falotico, VP, Client Development at Pathbuilders, and Mark Rankin, SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer reviewed the results of the Pathbuilders survey administered in Q4 of 2021, and shared how the results played into the current cybersecurity landscape, and identified key findings and opportunities for BeyondTrust.

Possibili-Teas @BeyondTrust
In this brand-new series, led by Sarvat Nawaz, HR Business Partner, and Fiona Reekie, Quality Assurance Manager, employees will join in virtually with their favorite cup 'o tea or coffee to strike up casual conversations with some of our exceptional women leaders at BeyondTrust. Beginning in May, these monthly conversations will present opportunities to chat candidly with those who have not only made significant contributions to BeyondTrust, but who also continually empower other women in our workplace by building honest relationships, living our values, and leading by example.
In The News!
Janine Seebeck, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, recently spoke with Women in Identity to share her career journey, best advice, and what she’s learned along the way.
BeyondGiving
This month, BeyondGiving was thrilled to highlight our work with Girls out Loud, a Manchester, UK-based organization whose programs empower girls to channel their potential and make better life choices. BeyondTrust has sponsored Emma Gallagher, Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager, and Ashley Lowe, Sr. Manager & HR Business Partner, as year-long mentors to local teenage girls as part of Girls Out Loud’s Big Sister Programme.

“I learned that you can go any direction in life at any time and as long as you study you can change career. I would love to work in HR. Thank you. It gave me a whole different view on life and careers and I now have a different mindset" - Vanesa, Girls Out Loud mentee
A huge thank you to Emma and Ashley, as well as Girls Out Loud, for all they are doing to help young women channel their potential!
Conclusion
With all of this month’s exceptional programing, it’s a reminder of the progress that has been made, which was highlighted by some of our guest speakers and how they have gotten to where they are today, but it is also a reminder that we have more work to do. We can continue to support one another through our professional journeys and also to inspire those who are beginning theirs. Get started by joining our April Women in Security event.
