APRA 234 Prioritizes Cyber Resilience

In its information paper on Supervision Priorities, dated February 2023, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) highlighted improving the cyber resilience of organizations that fall under its purview amongst its top priorities. A core component of this priority will be the independent reviews of financial services organizations and their compliance with CPS 234. It is also noted that this heightened supervision will result in greater enforcement of security standards and breaches of conduct.
