A simple way to verify the OS (Server 2012 vs. Server 2016) is by accessing the U-Series appliance web page and looking at the Security Updates from the Maintenance menu under the BeyondTrust Updates page. These updates state whether they are for 2012 or 2016 and the date will correspond with the underlying appliance OS.
