Medical coverage provides you with benefits that help keep you healthy, like preventive care screenings and access to urgent care. It also provides important financial protection if you have a serious medical condition. We offer two plans, a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). These are both provided through Cigna.

Our Dental plan covers a full range of dental services—from preventive and basic care to more complicated procedures like crowns and periodontal care. Monthly premium cost for employee only coverage is paid 100% by BeyondTrust. When you enroll in the Dental Plan you are provided with dental coverage through Cigna.

Routine vision exams can not only correct vision, but also detect more serious health conditions. Our plan helps you get great vision care with coverage for routine eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses. We give you the choice to enroll in a vision plan through Cigna. The monthly premium cost for you and your dependents is paid 100% by BeyondTrust.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to pay for eligible expenses using tax-free dollars. Important: There is a “use it or lose it” rule imposed by the IRS. If you do not spend all the money in your Health Care or Dependent Care FSA by March 31 of the following year for expenses incurred from January 1 – December 31, unused dollars (except for allowed carry-over maximum rollover) will be forfeited per IRS regulations for pretax contributions. These accounts are administered through WEX.

Do you want to save money on taxes? A Health Savings Account is a tax-advantaged, portable (you own it!) savings account that is offered if you enroll in the Fidelity Health Savings Account (HSA). If you enroll in our high-deductible health plan (HDHP), you become eligible to contribute pre-tax money to an HSA account to save for out-of-pocket healthcare expenses. Any money that you don't spend grows year after year and can be used in the future, even after you retire. BeyondTrust also makes a generous contribution to each eligible employee’s HSA. Fidelity administers this account.

One of the best ways for you to prepare for the future is through active participation in a 401(k)-retirement plan. Our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan through Fidelity helps you save for retirement and offers both pre-tax and after-tax (Roth) options. The plan includes a variety of quality investment options including the FlexPath Moderate Target Date Funds, a program that manages your investment mix automatically. BeyondTrust will begin matching your 401(k) contributions immediately. In addition, your contributions and the BeyondTrust contributions are 100% vested.

If you become disabled and cannot work, your financial security may be at risk. Protecting your income stream can provide you and your family with peace of mind. We offer both short-term disability insurance and long-term disability insurance. The cost of short-term and long-term disability is paid in full by BeyondTrust.

Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage pays you a benefit if you temporarily can't work because of an injury, illness, or maternity leave. Benefits may be reduced by income from other income sources such as paid time off. Your doctor and the insurance company will work together to determine how long benefits are payable, based on your condition. Coverage is provided by Unum.

Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage pays you a certain percentage of your income if you can't work because an injury or illness prevents you from performing any of your job functions over a long time. It's important to know that benefits are reduced by income from other benefits you might receive while disabled, like workers' compensation and Social Security. Coverage is provided by Unum.

If you have loved ones who depend on your income for support, having life and accidental death insurance can help protect your family's financial security and pay for large expenses such as housing and education, as well as day-to-day living expenses.

Basic Life Insurance pays your beneficiary a lump sum if you die. AD&D (Accidental Death & Dismemberment) Insurance provides another layer of benefits to either you or your beneficiary if you suffer from loss of a limb, speech, sight, or hearing, or if you die in an accident. The cost of coverage is paid in full by BeyondTrust. Coverage is provided by Unum.

Voluntary Life Insurance allows you to purchase additional life insurance to protect your family's financial security. Voluntary AD&D Insurance allows you to purchase additional accidental death and dismemberment insurance to protect your family's financial security in case you suffer from loss of a limb, speech, sight or hearing or if you die in an accident. Coverage is provided by Unum.

Critical Illness Insurance can help fill a financial gap if you experience a serious illness such as cancer, heart attack or stroke. Upon diagnosis of a covered illness, a lump-sum, tax-free benefit is
immediately paid to you. Benefits can be used to help cover out-of-pocket medical costs like your plan deductible, copays, or related expenses like transportation to and from the hospital, childcare,
lost income from work or costs associated with adjusting to life following a covered critical illness. This plan is offered by Unum.

Accident Injury Insurance If an accident occurs, you may be surprised at how the expenses
can add up. Accident Insurance is designed to help you pay for unexpected costs that result from an accidental injury. Accident Insurance includes benefits for a wide range of common injuries such as fractures, dislocations, burns, emergency room or urgent care visit, and physical therapy. If you or a covered family member suffers an accident, this plan will pay you a lump-sum, tax-free benefit. The amount of money you receive depends on the type and severity of your injury and can be used any way you choose. Unum provides coverage for this program.

Hospital indemnity (HI) insurance pays a cash benefit if you or an insured dependent (spouse or child) are confined in a hospital for a covered illness or injury. Even with the best primary health insurance plan, out-of-pocket costs from a hospital stay can add up. The benefits are paid in lump sum amounts to you and can help offset expenses that primary health insurance doesn’t cover (like deductibles, co-insurance amounts or copays), or benefits can be used for any non-medical expenses (like housing costs, groceries, car expenses, etc.). Unum provides coverage for this program.

Legal Plan Program offers you access to legal advice and even representation for an affordable monthly premium. Whether you need assistance reviewing a rental agreement, fighting a traffic ticket, creating a will, buying a house or navigating an IRS audit, Legal Insurance from Legal Shield offers reputable attorney assistance for you and your family.

ID Theft Insurance offers protection of your personal information through proactive monitoring, reactive identity restoration, and resolution for an affordable monthly premium. ID theft is offered through Legal Shield.

Pet Insurance prevents you from needing to weigh your pet's health against your bank account. Pets are members of the family too. When your pet gets sick, bills can add up faster than expected. Most plans offer coverage for costs associated with both accidents and illnesses—even medications. Nationwide provides coverage for this program.

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to help you lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work. Call for confidential access to a Licensed Professional Counselor who can help you. A Licensed Professional Counselor can help you with stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce, anger, grief and loss, job stress, work conflicts, family and parenting problems and more.

BeyondTrust offers paid parental leave to enable eligible employees to care for and bond with a newborn or a newly adopted or newly placed child. This policy will run concurrently with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave, as applicable. This policy will be in effect for births, adoptions or placements of foster children.

At BeyondTrust, we believe it’s important that employees get time away from work to completely 'unplug'. Employees may use the sabbatical program to work on personal projects, volunteer, travel the world, spend more time with family, or simply take time to relax. Taking an extended break from work allows employees to look at things differently, grow as a person, and come back feeling rejuvenated. All full time, permanent, employees (excluding officers) with at least seven (7) continuous years of service will be eligible to take a sabbatical every 7 years.

At BeyondTrust, we recognize the importance of taking time away from work to recharge, refresh, and attend to personal and family commitments. In order to encourage our employees to take personal time off as needed on an individual basis, the Company has adopted a Flexible Paid Time Off policy for full-time employees based in the US. Eligible Employees do not accrue paid time off under this policy but can take as much time as needed during the year within the parameters outlined in the Flexible PTO Policy. Eligible Employees may take paid time off under the Flexible PTO policy for vacation and other personal reasons.

BeyondTrust provides 13 paid holidays per year for all full-time, benefit eligible employees. Additional holidays may be designated at the company's discretion.

Our tuition reimbursement program is an opportunity for employees with proven job performance to enhance knowledge and professional development. BeyondTrust will reimburse up to $4,000 annually to an employee for continuing education through an accredited institution that is within a business-related degree program and offers growth in an area related to his or her current position, or that may lead to promotional opportunities. This education may include college credit courses that are job-related.
