As Chief Technology Officer, Marc Maiffret is responsible for leading BeyondTrust’s product strategy and leading the global engineering organizations to address market needs in intelligent identity and access security. Maiffret is a well-known entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of experience in security leadership at organizations such as eEye Digital Security, FireEye, SpaceX, and BeyondTrust. Maiffret founded his first company shortly after being raided by the FBI at the age of 17. As a security researcher, Marc was an early pioneer in Microsoft vulnerability research, including co-discovering and naming Code Red, the first Microsoft computer worm. Marc has presented at numerous security conferences and has testified before Congress on matters of national security. As an entrepreneur, Marc helped design and build some of the first products for Vulnerability Management, Web Application Firewalling, Endpoint Security, and Malware Detonation. Marc has written for numerous publications and is regularly sought after by media organizations to break down complex security topics.

Christopher L. Hills has more than 20 years’ experience as a Technical Director, Senior Solutions Architect, and Security Engineer operating in highly sensitive environments. Chris is a military veteran of the United States Navy and started with BeyondTrust after his most recent role leading a Privileged Access Management (PAM) team as a Technical Director within a Fortune 500 organization. In his current position, he has responsibilities as a Chief Security Strategist (America’s) working with Customer, Marketing, and Executives on Thought Leadership, Market Trends, Company Vision and Strategy. Chris has held the Sr Solution’s Architect, Deputy CTO, and Deputy CISO roles since starting with BeyondTrust. Chris is also co-author in the Cloud Attack Vectors book, a contributor in the New Privileged Attack Vectors book, and editor in previous books. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family on the water boating, supporting his son’s college football career, going to the sand dunes off-roading.

Tom is a Senior Solutions Engineer at BeyondTrust. In this role, Tom helps organizations of all sizes identify solutions to meet their cyber security and compliance objectives. Tom has more than ten years’ experience in Information Security and has been recognized as a six-time Most Valuable Professional (MVP) by Microsoft for his work in the IT community. Tom joined BeyondTrust from McAfee, where he spent five years consulting and advising organizations on security strategy and operations.

Chris Weaver is a Senior Solutions Engineer at BeyondTrust focusing on all aspects of Privileged Access Management (PAM) including Identity Security. Prior to joining BeyondTrust, Chris was a principal consultant for a partner and deployed complex technical solutions with Fortune 500 customers across multifaceted global data centers and cloud environments. Chris is a certified Implementation Engineer for Password Safe, Remote Support, Privilege Remote Access and Privilege Management for Desktops.

Jason Silva is a Senior Solutions Architect focused in Privilege Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Least Privilege. Jason brings over 25 years of experience in solutions management to BeyondTrust's Privileged Access Management Solutions enforcing Privileged Password Management and Privileged Session Management, Privileged Endpoint Management, and Secure Remote Access which utilizes a single pane of glass for all management aspects including Automated Account Discovery, Privileged Management and Elevation, Audit and Compliance, and Reporting.
