Avecto, the leader in Windows Privilege Management, today announced they will be demonstrating how their award winning Privilege Guard solution integrates with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) at Focus 11 in Las Vegas.
Avecto's integration with ePO will enable McAfee customers to deploy Privilege Guard via ePO and report on privileged activity from directly within the ePO console. Privilege Guard's events will be forwarded to ePO via the McAfee Agent, enabling rich reporting capabilities through configurable dashboards and queries.
Avecto's Privilege Guard solution enables IT departments to delegate privileges to individual applications and tasks, eliminating the need to grant administrative rights to users. This state of 'least privilege' means that all users log on using a standard user account and are provided with the minimum rights to perform their roles, based on the applications they use and the tasks they perform.
"We are very excited to be demonstrating our ePO integration at Focus 11", said Mark Austin, CTO at Avecto. "This integration will enable joint Avecto and McAfee customers to leverage their existing investment in ePO to manage the deployment of Privilege Guard and report on privileged activity on all of their Windows endpoints."
Presentations are being delivered at the Avecto booth #103 at McAfee's Focus 11 event in Las Vegas. As a Gold Sponsor of Focus 11, Avecto CTO Mark Austin will also be delivering a breakout session on The "Least Risk" Windows 7 Migration, which will take place on the morning of Thursday 20th October.
