Working in cybersecurity as a woman can be very difficult, let alone getting started in the field! Only 25% of women work in tech, and BiaSciLab is helping to change that. In this talk, 16 year old BiaSciLab will go over her own struggles getting started and why she started her nonprofit, Girls Who Hack. GWH is focused on giving the younger generation of girls a head start into cyber security without the pressure of being the “only girl in class”.
BiaSciLab will show how you can enter the industry at any age no matter your tech background. She will also provide free resources and advice you can implement even as a beginner.
Bring your kids, nieces, mentees, or anyone who you may think can benefit from this amazing talk! Hopefully they will become inspired and we can make 2023 a year for #GirlPower !!
