Last week, I wrote about my experience at McAfee’s Power 2017 conference, and how BeyondTrust and McAfee’s partnership has grown in the last year. As part of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program, BeyondTrust is committed to providing an integrated solution for endpoint least privilege to McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator customers.
We’re pleased to announce that our latest version of PowerBroker for Windows (v7.3.1) includes support for McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator version 5.9. Risk and compliance mode within McAfee ePO allows PowerBroker for Windows to evaluate, [at time of launch] whether an application contains any known vulnerabilities and/or may violate compliance regulations by being allowed to run with certain rights, or at all. This rule category was already available in other PowerBroker for Windows modes, (Active Directory or Web Services) and has now been added to McAfee ePO mode as well.
