February VEF Participant Wins a Kindle Fire

February 25, 2013

As you all know, every month we host our Vulnerability Expert Forum (VEF) webinar. This is a time where our experts share valuable insight regarding new vulnerabilities that are discovered and the actions that need to be taken as a result. It's a quick way to get up to speed on current potential risks to your organization and a way to explore the impact that high-risk vulnerabilities and exploits have on network environments and infrastructures. BeyondTrust is committed to helping security administrators reduce the workload they face by making this information easily accessible and by clearly presenting all required information to our audience. If you haven't attended a VEF before, I encourage you to sign up and join our next one in March. Not only will you receive a complete analysis of recently announced critical vulnerabilities from Microsoft and other software vendors but you could potentially win a Kindle product from us! Our February winner, Eddie Carrasquillo, was awarded with a new Amazon Kindle Fire for participating in our discussion earlier this month. Here's a little bit more about Eddie and what he had to say about BeyondTrust's VEF:
"Security is a Journey, not a destination." I got more information about BeyondTrust from last year's SecureWorld 2012 in Seattle. This was my first VEF, and it's on my calendar to attend regularly going forward. I've also bragged about BeyondTrust VEF, not only was it knowledge packed, they make it fun and memorable. I love that they address ALL the questions and are well rounded on their answers. I'm looking forward in setting up a meeting with BeyondTrust and our Security Team to see what other products/services can help our organization. I mainly focus on monitoring with Nagios, obtained my CEH and ECSA, and actively seeking to pursue internal penetration testing and customer security awareness in our organization.
Again, congrats to Eddie and thank you to all for being continued supporters of BeyondTrust and security for all. Don't forget to join us at our next VEF and you too could possibly take home a new Kindle product! Sign up here.
