The amount of cyber attacks on servers and devices keeps growing radically - and the attacks become more and more intelligent. Exclusive Networks Germany has therefore decided to introduce Avecto, a specialist for enterprise-class endpoint solutions, to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In the UK Avecto has already been rated 4th in Deloitte's Fast 50.
Value added distributor Exclusive Networks provides a broad portfolio of enterprise-grade security solutions - now also including Avecto products. Avecto's Defendpoint software solutions secure devices specifically within the enterprise segment - a task that is becoming increasingly important given the current threat situation.
Rainer M. Richter, Channel Manager DACH and Eastern Europe at Avecto comments: "The demand for innovative security solutions for devices is growing, especially in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Exclusive Networks is an award-winning distribution partner for the DACH region and we are delighted that we are able to work together.
They have a big network of resellers and VARs that allows us to connect quickly with our customers, while the resellers and VARs themselves can meet the security demands of their end customers by offering our integrated solution for Privilege Management, Application Control and Sandboxing. With these techniques, malware can be stopped right at the endpoint while providing the users with as much freedom as possible."
Privilege Management: Specific user profiles such as administrators enjoy privileged rights and are therefore a security risk. Defendpoint Privilege Management therefore applies permissions directly to approved apps, tasks, scripts and content - rather than to the users themselves. This allows all employees to work without administrator rights. Employees can continue to productively use documents, tasks and scripts without compromising business security.
Application Control: Defendpoint Application Control solves the traditionally difficult challenge of managing business applications. It takes a simple approach to creating allow lists than traditional allow listing products and ensures that users can work safely with the applications they need, with flexible options for requesting access to software. The definition of trusted applications prevents the installation and execution of malware.
Sandboxing: This feature extends IT security to the most common entry point of malicious software: the Internet. Internet threats are being isolated while company data is being protected by a safety net.
"We are seeing strong demand for endpoint security solutions and therefore are very pleased that as a first step we were able to sign the contract for Germany, Austria and Switzerland" says Martin Twickler, CEO of Exclusive Networks Germany. "In his function as product manager, our new colleague Ronald Baum will take care of all our resellers' requirements around the Avecto solutions, supporting them accordingly."
Interested parties can meet him at the Exclusive Networks booth (hall 12, booth 401) at IT security trade show "it-sa" taking place from 6 to 8 October in Nuremberg, Germany. Experts from Avecto and Exclusive Networks will be available during that time for any questions about the Avecto solution.
