The Avecto team joined in the fun this summer at Boston TechJam, the city’s annual celebration of the growing tech ecosystem of Greater Boston’s entrepreneurs, tech companies, and startups. The event combined a tech block party, innovation showcases and live music. By the end of the night, over 8,000 members of the tech community within Boston had gathered in City Hall Plaza to celebrate Boston as the place to start and grow a tech business.

“The Boston TechJam event is a great example of the powerful technology community in and around Boston,” said Jeff Wilmot, area vice president of enterprise and corporate sales at Avecto. “We meet with hundreds of engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales, and marketing candidates!”

The event, which has been happening for the past six years, connects Boston's startups, entrepreneurs, established companies, innovators, students and artists in a unique way. It’s one of the top networking events within the city because it brings together every corner of the innovation community. The tech block party brought a fun and inclusive atmosphere where innovators can convene, collaborate and network.

“We were thrilled to be a part of the Boston Tech community this year at Boston TechJam,” said Allie Dancewicz, field marketing manager at Avecto. “This event is great for getting the word out about our emerging company, hiring the next generation, and team bonding with some great food, music, and like-minded professionals. We look forward to joining everyone at TechJam again next year!”

At the Avecto booth, conference participants were timed building the letter “A” out of Legos. The booth saw some quick-fingered action and the fastest participant was able to build it in under a minute! The fastest time received Red Sox/Yankees tickets. Congratulations to our winner!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We loved connecting and meeting you!
