Avecto Ltd, the leader in Windows privilege management, today announced the launch of their new Channel Program. Additionally, Avecto announced the appointment of two industry veterans to lead this initiative - Rashied Akrum has been appointed Director of European Business Development and Carina Rozendaal has been appointed Director of European Channels. Both Akrum and Rozendaal bring a tremendous amount of experience to Avecto, with an extensive track record of developing profitable and sustainable partner channels for leading vendors such as Citrix, Softricity and Microsoft.
The Avecto Channel Program is available to distributors and resellers in mainland Europe and has been designed with the needs of today's channel partners in mind, consisting of three levels of membership: Registered, Consulting and Privileged Partners.
In the market for least privilege management solutions, the unique ability to elevate Windows applications on demand, and manage user privileges centrally, has enabled tremendous growth for Avecto over last year. "Partly because of the Microsoft Windows 7 adoption, VDI interest and tighter security and compliance regulations, we see a growing demand for secure, compliant desktops that operate under the least privilege model. A skilled network of partners will enable Avecto to scale and meet the implementation and support demands of enterprise customers." says Paul Kenyon, VP of Sales and Operations.
For distributors and partners the benefits include competitive margins, licensing programs, joint marketing, lead campaigns and comprehensive sales and technical support. "Partners are always in search for a competitive advantage and new innovative products, to build their business to the profitable next level. We believe that the Avecto Privilege Guard solution, combined with the attractive partner benefits in the program, will bring the essential value-add needed for a low risk/high return to partners who are focused in the security and desktop market." says Rashied Akrum, Director of European Business Development.
