Fast growing privilege management company sets sights on market expansion
Avecto, a leader in privilege management software has announced rapid growth in Canada following a series of large customer wins and the continued commercial success of its Defendpoint software.
The presence of Avecto in Canada is part of the company's ambitious growth plans for North America, with a network of channel partners in place to support further expansion.
In recent months, Avecto has secured deals with a range of high profile organizations in the region, including; one of Canada’s biggest banks, a leading oil and gas company, along with manufacturing and private equity organizations.
Headed by Sales Director, Dan Deganutti and Channel Director, Frank Provenzano, deals in the region have been driven by significant demand for Avecto's Defendpoint security software. Defendpoint combines best-in-class privilege management and application control, making admin rights removal simple and scalable across desktops and servers to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency. It's latest version, Defendpoint v5.0 offers the best time-to-value on the market, with overnight setup achieved via its innovative Quick Start policy.
Commenting on the company’s growth in the region, Matthew Knutsen, VP Americas said, "We have made significant strides forward in Canada with high demand from organizations following the cyber security guidelines of the Canadian Communications Security Establishment (CSE) with its recommendations of least privilege and allow listing. We have secured some landmark deals and a huge amount of interest in our software as businesses seek to improve security and achieve compliance. We are anticipating continued high growth rates from the region well into the next few years."
Avecto will be exhibiting at the 11th annual SecTor conference in Toronto, November 13-15, where the team will be showcasing Defendpoint v5.0 and its ground-breaking approach to least privilege.
