BT PM App & BT ePO Extension 23.10 Release Notes

This release notes document covers updates to Endpoint Privilege Management ePO Extension and introduces the new BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management App (BT PM App).

Requirements:

• BT PM App can only be installed on Windows machines.

New Features and Enhancements:

BT ePO Extension

• Customers can import and export their policy XML file using an upload feature on the ePO Policy Summary page. Use this method as an alternative to using the BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management App.
• The BeyondTrust ePO extension has been updated to be compliant with the Content-Security Policy (CSP) security layer. Users can enable HTTP content security policies in their ePO Orchestrator environment with the latest BT ePO extension.
• Removed reporting and the policy editor from the BT ePO extension. Reporting and policy editor are replaced by the BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management App.

BeyondTrust Privilege Management App

• Introduced the ePO BeyondTrust Endpoint Privilege Management App to enable customers to manage policy and view event data via reporting on their ePO server. The app replaces the policy editor and reporting that were previously integrated in the ePO extension.

Issues Resolved:

• Resolved an issue with macOS message body configuration not showing correctly on endpoints after changing the custom image.
