Endpoint Privilege Management Cloud 22.9 Release Notes

November 29, 2022

New Features and Enhancements:

Web Policy Editor

  • Users can now enable Windows Hello for user authentication on Windows Messages.
  • Account Discovery interval can now be configured for use with the Password Safe integration.
  • The list of locked policies is now ordered alphanumerically. When a user adds a single application via Add to Policy in Analytics, they are now directed to the application matching criteria screen.

Privilege Management Reporting

  • Introduced server-side caching to save previously loaded results and improve page load times. This applies to the following EPM Reporting grids: Events All, Process Details, Target Types, and Discovery reports.

PM Cloud

  • The concept of duplication is no longer seen in the application.
  • When a grid is filtered, the parameters are now added to the query string, so when the page is refreshed, all filters are preserved.
  • Users can now approve a ServiceNow request for up to 12 months.

Issues Resolved:

Web Policy Editor

  • Exclusion character limit increased to 30,000 for parity with the MMC.

Privilege Management Reporting

  • Resolved issue with the Elevation Method filter. It now displays accurate results on Events > All.
  • Resolved issue in which applications with Chinese characters in their description on Target Types did not show accurate results on Events All when drilling down via Process Count.
  • Resolved issue in which the Discovery > Requiring Elevation > Elevate/Authorization Method column dropdown would be empty.
  • Resolved issue in which the HostName filter did not apply in the User Report > Top 10 Hosts Target Types report.

PM Cloud

  • Resolved issue in which the adapter installer would hang when IC3Adapter user was not a local user.
  • Resolved issue in which policy revision comments overlapped with previous comments in the EPM Cloud portal. The line now expands to the size of the comment to remain readable.
  • Resolved issue in which ServiceNow integration Auth Requests with long strings aligned incorrectly. Long strings are now truncated.
