This initial release of the plugin for integration between the Endpoint Credential Manager and BeyondTrust Password Safe supports the following use cases and credential types:
Retrieval of local accounts for Windows endpoints
Retrieval of linked accounts for Windows endpoints
Retrieval of local accounts for Linux/Unix endpoints
Retrieval of linked accounts for Linux/Unix endpoints
Retrieval of local Cloud accounts for Web endpoints
Retrieval of local Database accounts for use with Remote RDP endpoints using the Bomgar Remote Desktop Agent SecureApp
Retrieval of linked Database accounts for use with Remote RDP endpoints using the Bomgar Remote Desktop Agent SecureApp
In addition to providing access to the accounts above, the plugin handles automatic creation and approval of Release Requests on behalf of the user, resulting in seamless check-out and injection. At the end of a session, the Release Request is automatically cancelled to prevent further access and to allow any configured password rotation to occur.
