PowerBroker for Windows version 7.3.1 adds several capabilities that further enhance management and usability. Please read below for a summary of new features.

McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) v5.9 Support

PowerBroker for Windows v7.3.1 now has support for McAfee’s latest version of ePO [v5.9]. Version 5.3 will continue to be supported. This allows companies using PBW in ePO mode to stay up to date with McAfee’s product versions.

Risk & Compliance Rules Added into PBW ePO Mode

Risk and Compliance allow PowerBroker for Windows to evaluate, [at time of launch] whether an application contains any known vulnerabilities and/or may violate compliance regulations by being allowed to run with certain rights, or at all. This rule category was already available in other PowerBroker for Windows modes, (Active Directory or Web Services) and has now been added to McAfee ePO mode as well. Note: BeyondInsight, (included with PowerBroker for Windows) will need to be installed and configured within your environment in order for the risk data file to be pulled down to the PBW client(s).
