Windows 10 includes several new security technologies based on hardware virtualization. Device Guard uses Virtual Secure Mode (VSM) to isolate the Code Integrity service from the Windows kernel, reduces the chances that an attacker could run unsigned code if they were to obtain administrator privileges.
