Windows 10 includes several new security technologies based on hardware virtualization. In this webinar, Russell Smith discusses how Device Guard replaces AppLocker as the preferred built-in application control solution in Windows. Device Guard uses Virtual Secure Mode (VSM) to isolate the Code Integrity service from the Windows kernel, reduces the chances that an attacker could run unsigned code if they were to obtain administrator privileges. By the end of the session you will understand:

  • How VSM is used to protect the Code Integrity service.
  • VSM hardware requirements.
  • How Device Guard differs from AppLocker.
  • Deploying Device Guard in your organization.

After Russell’s presentation, BeyondTrust Product Manager, Jason Silva, will then examine alternative application control solutions and run through a demo of PowerBroker for Windows. This will be a webinar you won’t want to miss!
