Powershell remoting is enabled by default in Windows Server 2012 R2 (and later), and while it's a secure means of remote management, administrator rights are required to connect to the default endpoint.

In this webinar, join Windows & IT Security Expert, Russell Smith who will explain how to configure custom powershell remoting endpoints, so that standard domain users can use powershell remoting; and how to enable HTTPS using a self-signed certificate.

At the end of the session you will be able to:

    • Understand powershell remoting security.
    • Configure a custom endpoint.
    • Establish powershell remoting sessions without using administrator credentials
    • Set up SSL using a self-signed certificate.
