Seasoned Executive Will Drive Global Growth

Agoura Hills, Calif.May 11, 2010 – BeyondTrust, the leading provider of Privileged Access Lifecycle Management solutions, today announced the appointment of IT industry executive Geoff Haggart as President of BeyondTrust International. Haggart brings more than 30 years of global sales and software industry experience to his role at BeyondTrust.

Reporting directly to CEO John Mutch, Haggart will lead all international aspects of BeyondTrust, including customer relations and support, business development, identifying new market opportunities, operations and international revenue growth. Haggart will further establish BeyondTrust’s reseller program globally and lead local training, education and certification programs in every region.

“Our international expansion is being driven by demand from our Global 2000 customer base. Our customers are telling us that BeyondTrust’s initiatives in Privilege Identity Management and virtualization are critical to their IT Infrastructure security and compliance initiatives,” said John Mutch, CEO of BeyondTrust. “We’re investing in a global value added reseller channel to provide worldwide training, education and support for these initiatives. Geoff Haggart has a sustained track record of building channel relationships and high performance international organizations. We are pleased to have Geoff join us to lead our international team.”

Before joining BeyondTrust, Haggart served as senior vice president of international sales at Websense. There he oversaw the growth of the company’s international business from $1.5 million in 1999 to $150 million annually. As the first international employee with the role of developing and expanding business in EMEA, Haggart oversaw the formation of sales and marketing teams in offices worldwide including Eastern Europe, Middle East, India and China. After taking responsibility for APAC, Haggart expanded the team and increased business over 80 percent in the first year.

Prior to Websense, he served as vice president of international sales at Continuus Software where he increased international revenues to $12.5 million in three years while conducting business with large multinationals such as BMW, BT, UBS and Nokia. Haggart also held various management positions over an eight year tenure at Legent, culminating in his role as President of Sales, Northern Europe. There he established and managed channel partners in twelve emerging market countries and grew the business to $40 million in five years. In his last position at Legent, Haggart was responsible for more than $60 million in regional revenue and managed 60 percent of the region’s employees.

“I firmly believe that BeyondTrust has a huge opportunity for rapid international growth,” said Haggart. “The BeyondTrust product suite is more complete and robust than any open-source or commercial alternative. The need to manage privileged access rights is universal in any country, yet our current business outside of the United States is very small. This is primarily because our prospective customer base abroad doesn’t know who we are and what we do. We’re going to change all that.”
