Ranked No. 3267 with a Three-Year Growth of 59 Percent

Carlsbad, CalifSeptember 8, 2010 – BeyondTrust, the leading provider of privilege delegation and authorization management, today announced that the company has been named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000, the publication’s annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. BeyondTrust ranks 3267 with a revenue growth of 59 percent from 2006 through 2009. This growth is fueled by increasing demand for privilege authorization management in heterogeneous environments across virtual and physical servers.

“It is an honor to have BeyondTrust ranked yet again on the Inc. 5000 List as one of the fastest growing companies in America. We continued to demonstrate strong growth from 2006 to 2009 despite the economic recession,” said John Mutch, CEO of BeyondTrust. “This award validates BeyondTrust’s position as the global leader in privilege delegation and authorization management and our commitment to consistent growth and expansion.”

The Inc. 5000 ranks companies based on their revenue growth over a three year period. According to Inc. this year’s Inc. 5000 employ a record 1.4 million people, up from one million on last year’s list. Additionally, despite the recent recession, the aggregate revenue of high-growth companies making the Inc. 5000 list has increased to $321.6 billion, up more than 50 percent from last year. As more virtualization and cloud computing initiatives reach mission-critical servers that require the highest level of compliance and security, BeyondTrust is expected to continue an aggressive growth path. In a recent survey taken at VMWorld, almost all attendees had virtualized at least some of their mission critical servers, but few had the security in place to prevent their IT colleagues from stealing data from those servers. This is a growing issue BeyondTrust is well-positioned to address.
