Open source SSH software like PuTTY and OpenSSH doesn’t enable the necessary security measures to make sure your systems are being accessed according to company policy. And because they require the sharing of login credentials and no centralized auditing is possible, administrators are in the dark about who is doing what on each system

In contrast, Bomgar enables administrators to centrally manage command line access by support rep and/or end system. Select support reps can be given granular access to specific systems. In addition, all access can be recorded and centrally stored and managed on the Bomgar appliance to enable visibility into support rep actions.
