The first time you connect to a remote desktop with your BeyondTrust trial, you'll see something like this screen:
During a remote support session, you'll notice a number of tabs or panels in the Remote Support Representative Console. Follow the links below to learn how to use each tab.
To the right of the screen sharing pane, you'll see a panel containing options for interacting with the remote computer. This panel contains the support session tools, the chat interface, and details about the remote system.

Elevate to Admin
Elevate the customer client to have administrative rights. To elevate to administrative rights, administrative credentials must be provided by you or the customer. To interact with UAC prompts in Windows Vista or above, the customer client must be running in elevated mode. This feature is currently available only for Windows and Mac computers.
Transfer Session
Transfer is not available with your trial. With the full version of Remote Support, you would be able to transfer this session to another support rep or vendor.
Share Session
Sharing is not available with your trial. With the full version of Remote Support, you would be able to share this session to another support rep or vendor.
Remove Other Reps
Remove is not used with your trial. With the full version of Remote Support, you would be able to remove any other representatives or vendors who had joined the support session.
Install or Remove BeyondTrust Buttons
BeyondTrust Buttons are not available with your trial. With the full version of Remote Support, you would be able either to install a BeyondTrust Button on the remote desktop or BlackBerry, or remove a previously installed BeyondTrust Button.
Install or Remove a Jump Client
Jump Clients are not available with your trial. With the full version of Remote Support, you may install a Jump Client on the remote computer, enabling you to access that system later without end-user initiation. Uninstall the client if you no longer need unattended access to that system. Currently, Jump Clients cannot be installed on mobile devices.
Close the Session
Close your session tab entirely. You can either uninstall the customer client from the remote machine or leave the customer in queue for another representative to resume the session.
Detach the Session Window
To detach a session window from the representative console, drag the tab away or right-click the tab and select Detach. To reattach a separate window as a tab, click the close window button.
Upon Session Close ...
You also may choose to log out the Windows user automatically, lock the remote computer, or do nothing when the session closes.
