Brian Chappell, chief security strategist, EMEA & APAC at BeyondTrust points out that User and Entity Behaviour Analysis (UEBA) is the first area where we are starting to rely on ML models to take automated actions when anomalous activity is detected. For example, a large data transfer out of the organisation, by a user who would not normally do such a thing, can be temporarily blocked until a human can review the situation and adjust the response.
