Atlanta, GA – August 28, 2018 – Bomgar, a leader in identity and access management solutions for privileged users, today announced that Chris Jones has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this newly created role at Bomgar, Jones will oversee all direct sales, solution engineering, channels and alliances, and sales enablement operations worldwide.
This year Bomgar acquired best-in-class Privileged Access Management (PAM) technology from Lieberman Software and Avecto to create a solution portfolio with the critical elements required of a comprehensive, enterprise PAM product – the ability to secure privileged credentials, sessions and endpoints against cyber threats. Jones has more than 25 years of experience leading consistently high performing B2B technology sales teams. Prior to joining Bomgar, Jones served as Senior Vice President of Sales at PROS where he led the company’s successful transition from perpetual license to software as a service model. Previously, Jones was General Manager at Microsoft in the Enterprise & Partner Group, and Area Vice President of Sales at EMC.
