As companies increasingly rely on vendors, many fail to take security concerns into account when allowing external access to their networks.

The report found that while  almost all (92 percent) companies trust vendors, more than one-third noted they suffered a breach because of a vendor’s access to their networks and systems over the past year. Additionally, 55 percent feared that a breach resulting from vendor access will occur over the next year, while 20 percent believe the same will happen at any time after one year. Read more.
