BeyondTrust is closely following the news related to the global Coronavirus pandemic.

Our highest priority is the health and welfare of our employees, our customers and their families. We are monitoring updates from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization and local government authorities, and we are providing ongoing guidance through our internal communication systems to all employees on temporary changes to remote working and travel policies.

Unless instructed otherwise by local governments, BeyondTrust’s offices remain open, however, in accordance with the latest guidance, we have encouraged all staff to work remotely wherever possible for the duration of the pandemic. Where there have been regional “work from home” or “shelter in place” mandates, we have identified ourselves as an Essential Business based on the critical software and services that we provide our corporate and government clients around the world. This allows us to continue to keep our offices open in order for those employees that need to work at the office to do so.

To protect those employees who remain in the office, we are advising them to practice social distancing while in the office and are continuing to work with our local landlords to clean all of our office spaces in a manner that mitigates the risk of the virus. This includes increased cleaning frequency and scope of common areas and conducting deep cleans wherever necessary. All of our employees have remote working capabilities which means that if employees choose to work remotely or if we need to close one or all of our office locations for the safety of employees and our customers, we can immediately shift to remote operations without interruption to workflows. During remote operations, employees will be available by email, phone and video conferencing to allow us to remain available and responsive to our customers.

As a provider of Secure Remote Access solutions, which thousands of our customers across the globe use every day to support remote workforces, we understand the pressures that many organizations are now facing in response to temporary policies requiring hundreds or thousands of employees to work remotely. The balance between security and productivity is even more critical. All BeyondTrust employees work on secure, encrypted devices which means that during any period of remote operations we can ensure that confidential information and personal data remains secure. Additionally, we have Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans in place to ensure that we and our vendors are operationally ready for any shift to remote working.

Regarding Employees

We are continuing to follow the U.S. CDC protocol and, effective immediately until the end of October 2020, we have suspended all non-essential employee travel, customer visits, conferences and face to face internal meetings. We have also established quarantine procedures after employee travel to high risk areas. All BeyondTrust sponsored in-person events during this time will be converted to virtual events or rescheduled for a later date as appropriate. These actions will help us protect against physical transmission of the virus.

Regarding Technical Support

BeyondTrust maintains Technical Support staff around the globe to ensure continuous service for all of our customers. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, our Technical Support staff will use our Remote Support capabilities to provide continuous support for our customers from safe locations.

Regarding Professional Services and Training

Effective immediately, BeyondTrust Services Project Managers and Training Coordinators will contact all customers with onsite engagements scheduled through the end of October 2020; they will work with customers to convert onsite visits to virtual sessions as possible or reschedule them to a future date if necessary.

Regarding Hiring

BeyondTrust is continuing to hire for open positions globally, and we are adapting our recruiting and onboarding processes to be virtual rather than face to face. All candidate interviews will be conducted via phone or video conference until the end of October 2020.
