Job Summary
As the National Channel Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for some of our most strategic partners, our Nationals. These partners cover multiple regions of the Americas and requirement strategic alignment across multiple teams, both internally and externally.
Working collaboratively with dedicated National Channel Account Managers you’ll be taking the lead on building a marketing plan that helps define a clear Marketing goal, for each partner, supported by a marketing plan that focuses on enablement and engagement.
Other key skills include:
- Have a broad evolving knowledge within the Security Market space, understanding what it takes to be successful. Having experience launching campaigns and co-marketing initiatives and successfully launching marketing campaigns in the past is a must-have skill.
- Being focused on maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company’s market positioning, products and services to help ensure messaging and programs (and ultimately effort) is aligned with the overall organizational goals and brand.
- You’re creative, but also love thinking about the whole marketing funnel and making decisions based on data. Hitting the ground running and using your experience to get to know and build successful long-term relationships with your Partners is essential to this exciting position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Align closely with key stakeholders (Channel, Training, Marketing) to create and coordinate co-marketing strategies and joint-marketing plans with our Partners to accelerate demand generation
- Work cross functionally with Field Marketing and Channel to create, execute, and measure regional joint events that drive net-new business and expand existing business.
- Be the point of contact for Marketing at our Partners and nurture and invest in those relationships.
- Work cross functionality with training and enablement teams to identify ways we can help enable our partners, faster.
- Develop and execute multi-faceted initiatives, including joint messaging, webinars, content creation, field events, email campaigns, social media content and campaigns, web pages, and reference building.
- Establish KPIs and work with Marketing Operations to measure and report on your lead creation, conversion, and ROI. Sharing monthly updates with stakeholders.
- Identify key stakeholders across all your Partners and build plans to support gaining front of mind with them.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and our vision to “change the game” by finding new and better ways of doing things: identify, create, and employ creative approaches to drive demand.
- Work closely with Alliances and GSI where possible to strengthen the value our ecosystem approach.
- Manage the National Marketing budget and work with the regional leads to ensure investment is optimized
Requirements
- Previous experience working at or with a National Partner
- Leadership and stakeholder management; able to lead by influence and negotiate with people and teams at all levels
- Tenacious and resilient, able to influence without authority
- Able to see the big picture and be strategic, but connect all the dots in a practical way; be able to prioritize and get the right things done
- Highly collaborative, with experience working in and leading cross-functional teams
- Great at building and nurturing relationships, across marketing, the business and alliance partners
- Excellent project management skills to manage multiple initiatives, channel partners, and stakeholders simultaneously to drive independent outcomes.
- Strong analytical ability to review activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making focus.
- Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce) essential
Desirable Skills but not Required
- Marketing Automation (e.g. Eloqua) preferred.
- Multiple languages
