As Software Developer on our iC3 product team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, software engineers, QAs, technical writers and UX’ers to drive improvements to our technology, influencing the vision and designing the technical architecture of our cloud product suite.

What will I be doing?

    • Provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring software is developed and unit tested according to best-practice software engineering principles.
    • Nurture an ethos of continuous improvement within the team and motivate the delivery of high quality, clean code.
    • Coach individual team members as required to aid professional development.
    • Work collaboratively and suggest and implement improvements to current software engineering processes.
    • Advocate and steer code reviews 
    • Take ownership for improvements to the iC3 codebase including the recovery of technical debt.
    • Work with the team to enhance the scalability and performance of the iC3 product whilst delivering customer requirements quickly, reliably and efficiently.
    • Manage triage of assigned software defects, agreeing priority with the Product Owner and Release Train Engineer.
    • Ensure the architectural integrity of the system is maintained in-line with the internal business architecture and UX standards.

What skills should I have?

    • Good communication skills enabling positive collaboration cross team and with wider business units and stakeholders
    • Experience with C#, WebAPI, ASP.NET (MVC and Core), PowerShell, Entity Framework, Micro-services, SQL Server
    • Experience of industry recognised software development and testing methodologies e.g. Agile, Scrum, SAFe
    • Experience developing cloud products e.g. Azure, AWS
    • Experience designing and developing enterprise scale commercial software products

Skills that are a bonus:

    • BSC or equivalent in a software engineering discipline.
    • Experience of working within the software security industry
