BeyondTrust is proud to introduce a brand new UVM Appliance offering called the UVMSQL. The UVMSQL is designed to meet high availability requirements of any enterprise by providing Microsoft Server 2016 and Microsoft SQL 2016 Enterprise as a black box appliance, fully MS CAL licensed, to support SQL Always On deployments of our PowerBroker Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Retina Enterprise Vulnerability Management solutions. The new appliances are based on new 1U server hardware, including 256GB of RAM and 4TB of RAID SSD Storage for high performance, and are fully DoD STIG hardened for maximum security.

The UVMSQL utilizes Microsoft SQL Always-On technology to ensure the supporting database for any deployment is always available and requires a minimum of two appliances to achieve redundancy. For highly distributed environments, organizations can deploy up to eight UVMSQL’s to support a potentially worldwide geography. This enables customers to license a complete PAM solution from BeyondTrust without the need to acquire or share existing MS SQL resources, or purchase new hardware and software licenses to support a high availability backend.

For more information on the UVMSQL and how it can be used in your environment, check out the datasheet. Whether you are a new customer starting a PAM program, or an existing customer looking to grow your PAM implementation, the UVMSQL can help assure maximum availability for your BeyondTrust solutions.
