BeyondTrust Announces European Expansion

Van Hugte Joins as Vice President of EMEA

Portsmouth, NH and Amsterdam, Netherlands- January 25, 2007 – BeyondTrust Corporation, the leading provider of Enterprise Least Privilege Management solutions, today announced European expansion plans and a new addition to its executive team. Leading BeyondTrust’s European operations, Paul van Hugte is an experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully expanding European markets for security software companies.

Van Hugte joins BeyondTrust as vice president of EMEA, with 19 years in the IT business and 15 years of management experience leading start-ups, groups, divisions and geographical regions for companies such as A-Line technologies, World Online, BT Syntegra and Network Associates. Most relevant, is van Hugte’s recent position of vice president of McAfee Central Europe. “I am excited to be part of this innovative company and to lead its European efforts,” said van Hugte.

Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, van Hugte will oversee BeyondTrust’s sales to meet the overwhelming demand for BeyondTrust Privilege Manager in Europe, where recent wins include financial and petrochemical concerns in excess of 20,000 seats. Van Hugte is developing the BeyondTrust business with direct sales and a network of system integrators, value added resellers and distributors.
