BeyondTrust PowerBroker® Achieves Certificate of Networthiness from US Army

Solution Now Authorized for Installation on Servers in US Army Bases

Agoura Hills, Calif. — December 7, 2009 - BeyondTrust, the leading provider of Privileged Access Lifecycle Management (PALM) solutions, today announced that PowerBroker has received a Certificate of Networthiness (CON) from the US Army, approving its use in the Army Enterprise Infrastructure (AEI).

Products applying for the CON are assessed to verify and validate they meet requirements such as network security, network impact, compatibility with the infrastructure, communications and information support. Only applications that are compliant to the US Army’s strict standards for security, support, sustainability, and compatibility are permitted on the Army Enterprise Infrastructure (AEI).

The Networthiness Certification Program is a collaborative effort between several Department of Defense organizations. Evaluations are performed to ensure systems being acquired will satisfy the Army’s Networthiness Policy and thus comply with the Clinger Cohen Act.

Having been awarded this certificate, US Army bases can be confident when they acquire PowerBroker that it will meet AEI standards and provide the access and security controls necessary to meet DIACAP and FISMA mandates.
