Geoff Charron Joins BeyondTrust as Vice President of Engineering
Enterprise Security Software Veteran Brings Deep Expertise to the Product Operations and Leadership

CARLSBAD, CA. – July 15, 2011 - BeyondTrust, the leading provider of privilege delegation and
authorization management solutions, today announced enterprise security software veteran, Geoff
Charron has joined the BeyondTrust team as vice president of engineering, where he will be responsible
for product development and quality assurance for the company’s complete product portfolio.
Charron joins the BeyondTrust team with more than 19 years of experience in engineering, managing and
directing global teams in design, development and delivery of enterprise software products. Prior to
joining BeyondTrust, Charron led the security products team at CA Technologies’ India Technology
Center. Before joining CA Technologies, Charron lead the development of several market leading
enterprise security products at Gradient Technologies, Netegrity (acquired by CA) and BEA Systems
(acquired by Oracle).

Charron holds a master of science in mechanical engineering and a bachelor of science in manufacturing
engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts.
